Texas is home to about 830 businesses and organizations that
participate in U.S. EPA’s ENERGY STAR program, including:
92 manufacturers of ENERGY STAR certified products
60 companies supporting independent certification of
ENERGY STAR products and homes
255 companies building ENERGY STAR certified homes,
and many businesses, schools, governments, and faith-based
groups using ENE
RGY STAR to avoid energy waste.

utility and energy efficiency program partners
15,376 buildings (more than 1.7 billion square feet) were
benchmarked using EPA’s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
540,378 homes have earned the ENERGY STAR to date
3,116 buildings have earned the ENERGY STAR for
superior efficiency to date, including 1,323 schools, 47 hotels, 27
hospitals, 1,015 office buildings, and 14 industrial plants.
